We are emailing attached snapshots or reports to dealers and
customers.
Some of them have Office installed, and it prompts them to put their
CD in when they click the attachments.
For those without Office installed, we have included a link to
download the snapshot viewer.
What we have been finding is that sometimes those who have Office
installed will attempt to install the downloaded snapshot viewer.
However, in this case, when the click the attachment, it still tells
them to put their Office CD in. Apparently, the downloaded Snapshot
Viewer does not set the file extension SNP to use the Viewer if it is
already set to run the installer. So, they still cannot use the
viewer even after installing it.
Anybody run into this? Have a solution?
