Hi
I'm repeating this request because my posting of 16 September received
no replies.
Some time ago Bob Jones posted a reply, saying:
"Office 2004 - fully updated - runs fine on any version of OS X
including Snow Leopard. If you do upgrade the OS, however, it's
recommended that you reinstall & update Office rather than 'migrating'
it. Check back here for details if need be. "
1. Is it still the view of the experts that Office 2004 is better than
Office 2008?
2. How does one reinstall and update Office 2004 (I still have the
disc) instead of what I understand is the normal method of upgrading
to OSX 10.6, namely migrating everything - applications and
documents?
3. A Google search throws up complaints about OSX 10.6, but I don't
know how informed these complaints are. You guys I trust. Are there
problems?
Many thanks
