Is it possible to slipstream Office 2003 sp2 into an admin installation
point of Office 2003 w/sp1 already in it without any problems or errors? I
did a slipstream of Office 2003 sp2 already into the admin point of Office
2003w/sp1 but encountered a failed installation to a test workstation via a
GPO. The push install took awhile (as expected) then logged in to the
computer and the "applying settings" took a real long time (not expected)
rebooted machine because it shouldn't take that long. Failed install. Do I
need to perferm the slipstream of sp2 into the original Office 2003 admin
installation point ( Office 2003 CD)? Is there just a way to push Office
2003 sp2 via GPO? Or slipstream sp2 into an already slipstream Office
2003w/sp1 installation point? Hope I didn't confuse anybody. Any help is
appreciated. Thks.
