installing/uninstalling problem

Hi

I go to use project 2003 and it wants to install it, but says it can't due
to it already is installed. It tells me to uninstall thru the control panel.
I go to the control panel to uninstall and it tells me it can't install due
to it already installed and to uninstall thru the control panel...

help
