Installing Web Componets Broke My DAP Connections

I just installed Access 2002 fresh, and connected to a few databases on our
LAN Intranet. I could edit the DAP's fine, everything was connecting. I'm
running IE 7.0 and for some supid reason I installed the Web Componets
Update. After doing this I can no longer connect to my Data Access Pages to
edit, create, or even USE my Data Access Pages any more. Even after
Un-Installing Web Componets. Help Please!

I've also discovered that I can not directly open access files from my server
by double clicking them. I have to go thru access and open them there.
