Installing WSS not recognizing ASP.NET as enabled

I am trying to install WSS and during the installation it is not recognizing
ASP.NET as being enabled. When I run through Manage my Server, ASP.NET is
enabled. If I try to run through Control Panel after selecting ASP.NET the
next step tells me I'm going to unistall Terminal Services. And I don't want
to do that. I'm dead in the water right now without this.
