In trying to (finally) download and install OFFICE XP SP1
it gets all the way through, then tells me that
INSTALLATION UNSUCCESSFUL -- cannot update
C:\config.msi\pt**.tmp as it was updated by other means
(** is a two-digit number that changes). I look and
the 'informational section' tells me that I have SP1, but
SP2 says I don't when I try to install it. Ok, is there a
way to make the system think I don't have SP1, reinstall
it, then do the SP2 thing? Ideas?
