Installs and Flash Drives

I have a SanDisk 4 gig flash drive. It has what is called U3 smart. Can I
install the OneNote on the drive and be able to use the program if I am using
my desktop or laptop?

Do you mean re-using the flash drive to run Office on both desktop and
laptop? Then the answer is "No", this wouldn't work because the install isn't
about the binary files only, but also about how we register our components,
licensing, etc...

Whether it's possible to install on a flash drive (e.g. because you need to
save space on the machine) and run Office on that machine only, I'm not sure.
I can try to find out if that's what you are after...

No, yxou can not install ON there.
It needs a lot of things in the Registry.

You could store the data-files (notebooks) there, however.
But if this would be wise (instead of using the notebooks "shared"
with automatic synchronizations) depends on what you want to do and
how you want to work.

Pls let us a know a bit more on your needs.
