instant search of Communications History returns all items

I have Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager on Window 7 64 bit
Professional. When I do an instant search on the Communications History, the
search returns all items as if no search was performed. Any ideas on how to
fix this or how to perfom a search on the communications history?
