Instant Search

When prompted I have downloaded the components but I keep getting an error
message, Consequently I am unable to enable Instant Search.
What is wrong?

Hard to say without any information about what exactly you are doing where
and which error message you get.
Note that after downloading Windows Desktop Search, you'll need to install
it and then wait a sufficient amount of time so that it can index all your
emails.
