instant search

Hi, when I search in one note, it tries to give an instant search first, and
fails. Then I have to click search again, and it goes into a traditional
search, which works. I know instant search beta now does not search the
desktop until the next beta comes out. Is that also true of one note?
Should I reinstal the instant search program? Thanks! I'm enjoying one note

Try Control Panel, Indexing Options, Advanced, Rebuild first and then
leave OneNote open over night. If that doesn't help, remove, reboot and
reinstall WDS 3.
