InStrRev returns odd results

When I use InStrRev([Canvasser]," ") I get the results below --

Andrew Box Bill 7 11
Tristan Brown 8 8

What do I need to check?

Those look like the correct results to me.

InStrRev returns the position of the searchstring in the string being
searched. It starts looking from the end of the string, but it returns
the position counting from the front. Position is always counted from
the left to the right.
