Instuction notes that must not appear in the printed document

Claire

Hi

I want to be able to enter notes as guidance for staff,
but that when they print the document that my notes
(which should appear in a different colour - e.g. blue)
should not print although when viewing it on screen the
text is visible. The space taken by my notes, when the
document has been printed, it should appear, as through
there was never any other text in it. I have seen this
done in templates before. They were project management
templates, with instructions on what type of information
should be contained within that section.

I would be most grateful if someone could help me with
this.

Have a wonderful day.

Kind regards
Claire

Do you mean that the space taken up by your notes (a) should disappear or
(b) should be empty?

If (a), format the text as Hidden. If you use a different style for the
notes, then you can modify the style before printing.

If (b), format the text as Font Color: White. Again, modifying the style
before printing will accomplish this.

To make this easy for staff, you may want a FilePrint macro that changes the
style before printing.
