insufficent memory

We seem to be having problems with word at the moment - everytime i go to the
macros section i get a message saying insufficent memory - save document.
We have done the following but to no avail.
* Deleted our copy of normal.dot and re-created it - tried to get back into
the macro's section but no luck
* Ran a full virus scan on PC
* Re-installed Office on the PC
* Installed the Office Servicepack 2.

The same normal.dot is working fine on a different PC.
We are currently running Word 2003 on XP Professional - can anyone help on
this.

Hello,
This may sound silly, but my advice would be to check how much spare disk
space you have, and how much memory (RAM) you have. If you don't have enough,
then this is probably your problem, but if you think you do, I would advise
you to put this information in with your description of the problem, so other
people can help you.
