Insufficient disk space

I recently had to reinstall XP MCE because of a hard drive problem. I also
reinstalled Office 2003 Small Business Edition. There are two users on the
PC. Everytime the second user opens Word or other Office app an Install
starts up. When it finishes Word functions as it should. This happens every
time however. I searched Microsoft about this and it indicated that I should
run the Windows Install Clean Up app, which I did. I just selected Office and
removed it. Now I am required to reinstall Office. I do have a legal copy of
Office 2003. When I start the installation process I get the usual prompts.
When I click the Install button it says it needs 108MB and C: has 47G
available. Then I get a panel indicating I have insufficient space. I cannot
click on a drive to select it. Nothing works to allow me to continue.
Any help anyone can provide will be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

Hi Joe,

You may want to check to see where the %temp% and %tmp% environment variables are pointed via the System applet in the Windows
Control Panel.

They both point to
C:\Documents and Steeings\Joe\Local Settings\Temp and
C:\Documents and Steeings\Joe\Local Settings\Tmp.
There is no Tmp folder. I looked to see what was in the Temp folder and did
not see anything pointing to Office 2003. Is there a folder I should see that
does not have Office in its name?
Thanks Bob.

There is no Tmp folder. I opened the Temp folder and did not see anything
that related to Office 2003. Should I have seen a reference to Office there?
Thanks
Joe
