Insufficient memort-saving Word template

Evening!
I have been running Office Prof.2003 on my PC for over a year, and am an
extremely experienced Word user.
Tonite a finished creating a new 1/2 page Word Doc Template, saving it as
always in the approriate template folder.

Whenever I try to create a New Doc from the template, selecting it from the
rest of my templates, I get the following error message:
"There is insufficient memory or disk space. Clsoe extra windows and save
your work."

There are no other windows open...
I have 512M Ram memory on my PC ...
I've never experienced this problem before on this PC...
AND
I can open any of the previously created doc templates!
I'm baffled! Sure hope someone has some ideas.
Thanks for your help!

The message suggests that the template is partially corrupt. Are you able to
open it as a Template without the error? Have you tried the Open & Repair
option to see if that finds the problem?

Terry, I have not been able to open it as a template so far, except by
opening it from the File/last docs menu... I saved it as a regular Word doc,
but that doesn;t accomplish the purpose.
I don;t know where the Open & Repair utility is... can you direct me to it
please, & I'll giveit a try.
Thanks for the feedback!

In Word use File, Open, select the file and then click the little arrow at
the side of the Open button and choose Open and Repair.
