Insufficient Memory

Hey there, I keep getting a popup saying Word has
insufficient memory, working on a document, I enable
macro's, the document isn't big at all, I have 512Mb P4,
I have upped the virtual memory, there was a fix on the
microsoft website saying click on insert, and bookmarks,
but that option is greyed out on me. I'm not sure what
else I can do. Thanks for your support. Sincerely,
