Access is not a secure environment. you need to consider whether you will be
storing sensitive information: policy numbers, social security numbers,
personal health information, driver's license numbers and driving record
data, details of specially insured items such as artwork, jewelry - anything
that would put your clients at risk for identity theft or property theft, or
violate their right to privacy. and you need to consider your liability, if
your database is hacked and client data stolen.

if you're storing data that raises any of the above concerns, Access may not
be the proper tool for your database needs.
