Integer automatically changing to long

I have vision 2003 professional. I opened up a document to add a table. All
the integer attributes converted themselves to long. Why the heck did this
happen? How do I stop it and convert them back?

Assuming that you are talking about the Database Modelling, then be careful
what you database driver is because Integer in one database system could
well be Long in another...

Driver is MS SQL Server. The diagram shows key fields as long, but the
properties window at the bottom shows they are int. Wish this message board
had an attachments option as I can take a picture of what I am talking about.

Check if the display is Physical or Portable data types for both the
graphics and the window
