Just did a PC shuffle & my wife now has my old computer with Word 2000.
Her old computer had Word 97. She likes the newer version, but is
bugging me to get Bookshelf (1996-97 version) installed.
According to Microsoft's KnowledgeBase (Article 177407) this should
work, but the fact is is does not! Have tried various installation
tricks -- always the same result. Word recognizes the existence of
Bookshelf (adds a "Define" choice on right-click menu), but gives a
"can't load program" message whenever you select "Define."
Anyone know what the trick is ????
Thanks!
