Integrating Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 and Project Server 2003

Hi there,
Is there any way around to integrate Sharepoint Portal Server and
Project Server when they are located on two different servers on the same
domain?
When I try to do this on the Project Server side (in Connect to SharePoint
server section), I get an error indicating
that these guys cannot find each other!
The error message is:
"Project server cannot connect to the specified Web server running Windows
Sharepoint Services. Please check the HTTP protocols and the port numbers in
both URLs."
I have access to Sharepoint Central Administration URL and also to the site
(Project Workspace named MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments) created under my
Sharepoint Server and the validation hints for both of them are OK. But as I
click on Save Changes button, the above error appears!
