This question is related to the Sample Database on the Project Server
2003. I am using a single server installation and it is a standalone
(not domain). By using the sample database configuration wizard, I set
up the URL (http://<servername>/sample) and the Create Windows user
accounts for each role on this computer for me, and installed.
Everything went fine. I created a new virtual server (WSSSample) and
added a port number (not 80), ran through finish and was successful.
Application pool ID permissions were correct (with app. pool
WSSSampAppPool). Extending WSS and adding the restored database went
smoothly. Manage content databases went smoothly. Adding Project
Server to the WSS exclusion list went smoothly.
The problem was in the Finish Integrating WSS and Project Server. I
went through the process and when I went to save changes, a message
came up:
VB Script: Microsoft Office Project Web Access 2003
Project Server has failed to create a test site on the specified Web
server running WSS. Verify that SharePoint Central Administration URL
is correct. When I ran tests (test URL) HTTP://<servername>ort and
http://<servername>ort/sites/MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments, they
load.
What could be the problem?
