Integration of additional module?

I currently have Office 2007 Standard. I am thinking of buying Publisher
2007 as a stand-alone module. How much (or little!) integration would there
likely to be with the original Office install?

Publisher works well as a standalone. Create a folder on your hard drive,
install into it.
