I'm looking to implement Project Server 2003 to support the move towards a
projects based culture within a number of teams. The teams have moved from
using a diary system based around Microsoft Access into using the calendar
within Microsoft Outlook and store details of annual leave as well as other
appointments.
I therefore wondered whether it was possible for the information stored in
the Outlook calendar to inform the individual resource calendars within
Microsoft Project Server, thereby allowing us to more easily see the effect
of annual leave on a project and saving us the task of dual entry.
We also currently set time allocation for team members and hence I would
want to report on how much time they were spending on individual projects
and/or across all projects they were involved in.
Is this possible?
