Interactive buttons disappear

I'm using FP 2003...When I generate my interactive buttons, they preview in FP and in the browser, but when I publish the page, they are red x's. I've uploaded the buttons to the site in the right folder, but they still don't show up. When I hover over them, though, they appear. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

Start by removing all spaces from all files and folders
- illegal html, breaks links and scripts

Then check the file names and folder locations of you images
- some are there, some are missing
Same applies to links (1st 2 page links don't exist)

Are you using FP to Publsih in http mode
- if not and you are FTPing , you need to FTP all files to the correct location
