interactive buttons do not display properly in frontpage 2003

The interactive buttons do not show either the mouseover image or the font
colours for mouseover or select when I view them in "view in browser" (IE6 on
an XP machine). However they behave correctly when I use preview in the
design window. All button jpgs are saved and selected for display. I got
the same behaviour when I ran the practice session at the end of the training
chapter on interactive buttons. Please note I do not yet have a version of
the website on a publicly available server.

Do you have Windows XP SP 2 install or any firewall app that maybe blocking scripts from running
locally?
