I thought INCLUDETEXT was how to go, but now I’m not too sure.
I’m using Word 2003 on Windows XP.
I have a large main document with over 2000 pages and five appendices, one
with over 2000 pages also. I need to make references in the main document to
areas in the appendices for explanation. I don’t know how. I’ve already
determined that large documents are not easy to work with.
My initial desire was to place some type of link in the main document which
would take the reader to the specific area of the named appendix There may
be a dozen or more places in the main document where a specific part of an
appendix is used to expand on a topic.
I have successfully bookmarked each appendix individually. I thought the
INCLUDETEXT might be the way, but now I doubt it. Got any suggestions?
