Interface PowerPoint <-> Excel

Hello,

i use PPT 2002 and should display an excel chart on a slide.
This chart does change every second. So I need to update the
chart going out from PPT. Does anybody know how I can access
and control an Excel sheet/workbook from PPT? How can I update
the PPT slide to take over the changes, made in the excel sheet/
chart? And finally .. can I use the embedded excel (access the
table?)?
