Hi,
I'm new to databases and Access, and I was wondering if anyone could help me
out with something. I manage a team that scans images into the system.
I've compiled a Query in Access that pulls all the names of the images that
must be scanned into the system. After these images have been scanned and
"committed" to our DocuNotes imaging system, my team is required to make
sure the images are actually there. DocuNotes has a horrible search tool
and you are required to search for each image one-by-one. Would it not be
possible to take the results of my Query and then run that on the DocuNotes
database and have a report generated that will display which images did not
make it?
I've searched the internet, but can find little information about DocuNotes.
I'm assuming that it would probably accept SQL based queries so I think this
should work. What would be the best way to interface with the DocuNotes
database? Should I link the table to my MS Accsss database via ODBC? If
anyone could give me some more insight on this, I would really appreciate
it.
Thanks,
Ryan
