Guys and Gals,
1. Any chance of a patch or conversion etc.. so Publisher can switch to
Front page?
2. I dont know if there is a virus or bug out there that causes images in
Publisher to erase from a web site document but I had something happening on
mine. I did post to the publisher web design community but no help. The
images on the uploaded web site stuck but on the file on my PC they would
slowly erase leaving a dotted square where the image once was and the red
cross in the upper left corner.
Graphic Manager would still show the name and location of the image but in
the file folder the images had vanished.
Your virus software discovered one toolbar adware that McAfee didn't and a
tech friend gave me some other virus scan software that found 6 other types
of spyware but after all these were wiped the problem appeared to accelerate
and instead of the images taking over night to vanished before I had finished
rebuilding the web pages some were already going??
I have done a complete reinstall and that appears to have stopped the rot so
to speak.
Regards
John
