Situation: New Dell computers preloaded with Windows XP
Professional and Office 2003 Standard, with Adobe Acrobat
6.0 loaded at site and printing to HP Laserjet 4000TN
using lastest PCL6 drivers through Jetdirect IP ports.
Problem: Whether using newly created documents or
documents created in Word 97 or Word XP, documents will
occasionally print with lower 2 inches of page clear.
Text that normally would appear in blank area does not
appear on next page, but is simply missing. If you
reprint document immediately, it prints correctly. Some
pages may even show just the top of a line, perhaps the
top quarter of the characters. XP stations on network
using Word XP to print to same printers do not show this
problem.
