Intermitten Lose of Focus

While composing a reply or new message in Outlook 2003, focus is
intermittenly lost. You can wait for it to return or click where it had
stopped typing. This problem also is in Word 2003.

I am running 2002 Window XP SP 3, on a Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz, 2.5 GB of Ram.
With AT&T Virus Software. Scans of all drives did not find any adnormalities.

Do you have your AV set to scan incoming and outgoing mail? Try disabling
it if you do and see if the intermittent loss of focus.
