Hello,
I have a Windows 2000 server running in an NT Domain at
present. The server has several volumes within a RAID-5
configuration, all disks are formatted as NTFS.
I have setup folders on one drive so that groups can
share data. Each share is setup identically so that
Domain Admins have FULL permissions and the group in
question have MODIFY permissions.
I have no complaints from any groups (I have 250+ users)
with the exception of one who complain of intermittent
problems with access Word documents from the share (they
are using Word 2000/2002). This only affects one group
who access one folder.
Does anyone know if there is a way that I can check the
consistency of the folder in question rather than the
entire volume, as the volume is over 300Gb!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
