Hi,
can anyone help with this issue with Word 2000 and 2002:
when creating a TOC, the page numbers are automatically converted to links -
works great.
However, we manage several documents with links between them, and because of
that we need to use the Hyperlink Base field in the document properties, so
we can specify the document links as relative links (relative to the
Hyperlink Base).
However, when we do that, the page number links in the TOC don't work
anymore - it's as if they use the Hyperlink Base as well. As a result, when
clicking a page number, a Windows explorer window pops up listing the
contents of the Hyperlink Base folder.
Same goes for any other internal cross-references.
Is there a way around this?
Thx,
Chris.
