I am currently using Word 2002, and I have a file which keeps making Word crash when i open it.
The problem is not regular, sometimes it crashes immediately, sometimes i can be working in it successfully for well over an hour, save it and close it without a problem.
When it is recovered and i click on "show repairs" it says "internal data integrity (type 3)" and sometimes "bookmarks" as well. Sometimes it even comes up with nothing in the repairs box. I do not have any bookmarks in this document and i have no idea what either of these means, or how to fix it, as when i open the "repaired" document, it often immediately crashes again.
It sometimes works if i open the document as read only, but not always.
Can anyone tell me what is causing the problem and how to fix it?
Thanks
