Internal error 2135/Action 1283

I have a large drawing (1.4 MB) that was emailed to me. I can open it from the email as well as from the copy I saved to the hard drive using Visio 2000. However when I save it to a CD, I can't open it. I copied it to another laptop running Visio 2003 and get the same error. The error #2135 and Action 1283: File Open. If the file is corrupted I shouldn't be able to open the mail attachment on the first laptop at all. I can open other visio files on both machines. ANy help on troubleshooting these error messages will be greatly appreciated.

Check out attributes of the file after writing on CD... it should be marked
as "Read Only" - clear this flag - it could help (not sure but seems to me
that "archive" attribute should be purged too)

Another possibility is that its pulling supporting files (a custom stencil perhaps? Or a linked database?) and its losing the path when copied to CD
