Received internal error 2349 when installing CD 2 of
Microsoft Office 2000 Professional. CD 1 installed just
fine. Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks.

DL answered this question last week. My sanity is
returned--(see my original post). The answer was on
April 18, with my original question. Thanks again DL. I
don't know why I couldn't found the error code when I
searched the databases.

The error message I received was different in that it did
not include "Copy resumed with different info". Instead
it said "Contact product support". So perhaps it is not
the exact same problem.

I'd be willing to try Solution 329386 which instructs to
install with a CD-ROM drive. But, my Dell has a CD-RW
drive so I'm confused as to how I'd come up with a CD-ROM
drive.

My message was to "Contact Product Support". I had both
the CD-RW and the CD-Rom drive. You could borrow one
from a friend, plug the drive in temp and test it. I
know DL nailed the answer to my problem. Keep trying.
