Internal Error Applying Updates

Darrell

Using PS 2007 SP2 Aug, 2009 CU (i think)

Twice now my schedule has stopped acceptiong updates from resources and the
Updates page shows the following error

"There was an internal error applying the update"

The first time I restored an earlier version from the archive and manually
updates the missing updates and the updates began to work again. This time I
have again restored and earlier version however it still is not updating from
PWA.

Any help much appreciated

Christophe,

Thx for the reply. I am having the Admin check now.

Funny thing is yesterday I manually entered all of the updates that I was
missing since Monday and completely reviewed and updated the schedule. Came
in this morning and when I tried to open the project it said my custome views
were not available because they were not compatible with the version of
schedule i was opening. I deleted my cache and pulled from the server and
received the same message so some how between when I saved all the changes I
made last night, which were still there, and this morning the version of the
schedule changed, the properties dialog no longer showed any data for the
"Modified", or "Accessed" fields and my custome views were all gone.

However, the schedule did suddenly accept progress updates!

Where can I look to determine if someone else accessed my scheule? Could
this me the cause?

Closing in on a major delivery date and the last thing I need rightn ow are
shcedling glitches.

Any help much appreaciated,
Darrell
