Internal Error while Installing Office Upgrade

Running Office Update from Mircosoft Web Site. Going
through process, put original CD in when prompted, but get
the following error message:

Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Update did not complete
successfully. For assistance contact Microsoft Technical
Support. See the log file Office 2000 SR-1 Setup(0001).txt
