Internal error

Hi,
Can someone help me to diagnose a problem with excel. I am
trying to recover a file (from zip) tried to repair the
file and corrected any problems found on HD. when i reboot
I get "Missing or incorrect command line parameter....file
still refuse to open.
Any advice....please
