Internal Server error - HTTP 500

I recently setup a new Dell server to host our website
using FP2002 with ODBC to Access97 tables. I have an
existing server I am upgrading from. After installing
all
the FP2002 extensions, I published my site to the new
server and a large number of my database result pages
were
modified with the following:

<% ' FP_ASP -- ASP Automatically generated by a Frontpage
Component. Do not Edit.
FP_LCID = 1033 %>

<% ' FP_ASP -- ASP Automatically generated by a Frontpage
Component. Do not Edit.
FP_CharSet = "windows-1252"
FP_CodePage = 1252 %>

All the pages that have these modifications are resulting
in an HTTP 500 - Internal server error
Internet Explorer - Page cannot be displayed!

Can anyone shed some light to why I am getting this
modification and what do these modification mean
exactly.
Microsoft Knowledge base has no results when searched.

I tried deleting them from the pages, but they come right
back.

Please HELP!!

Hi,

Turn off Friendly Error messages in IE (Tools|Internet Options) then reload the page and see what the full error messae is.
