Hi All,

I use XL2003 Hungarian version. In Hungarian language there are letters with
diacritical marks, like á, é, í, ó, ö, ő, ú, ü, ű. If a cell (say A1)
contains a word containing certain letters of this collection, e.g. letter Å‘,
then Range("A1").Value returns the letter without the diacritical mark, e.g.
if cell content is "KÅ‘szeg" (this is a town's name), then "Koszeg" is
returned. If I remember well, dealing with diacritical marks worked nicely in
Excel 2000.

Does anybody know a remedy for this error?

Thanks,
Stefi

Sorry, It was not an XL problem, I had wrong Windows keyboard setting. Now
the real problem is that XL somehow recognized letter Å‘, thus hided the real
cause of the problem!
