Internet Connect Alert

When I am on the internet the following message keeps popping up:
"Internet Connect: Could not open the communication device"
I simply check OK and it does not affect my wireless connection but the message is annoying. How do I disable it?

Hi Carl!

Internet Connect is not part of Entourage. It's part of the Mac OS X
system. This probably isn't the best place to ask your question. You
might try Apple's discussion groups instead <http://discussions.apple.com>.

If you're using a third party wireless device with your Mac and not an
Airport card then also check the manufacturer's website for support.
