I'm using Internet Explorer 6.0 and Outlook 2003 for e-mail. When I go to a
web site (any web site) and click on a 'Send E-Mail' link, I get a message
from IE that Outlook could not be started. If Outlook is already running, I
get a message from Outlook - "Could Not Create Item". I am pretty sure this
problem always existed on this computer. I have tried a lot of different
settings with no luck. The people at HP could not fix it either.
Outlook works by itself OK. When I click the Mail icon on IE toolbar, I can
open Outlook and send mail with no problems. The problem only happens when I
click an e-mail link on a web page.
Any ideas?
