Internet Explorer

Through Control Panel I have set Internet Explorer as my default browser.
However, all of the recent updates ot Internet Explorer are causing it to
mess up all the time. I want to change it so that Internet Explorer is no
longer my default brower, but that option is grayed out in Control Panel.
Any suggestions how I can fix this?

Not sure how your question relates to Microsoft Word, which is
what this newsgroup supports, but my guess would be that the
option to choose another browser is grayed out until you install
another browser.

You don't do it in Microsoft Word, that's for certain.
