Internet Free/Busy Outlook 2002 Errors still - Tried Everything

I am trying to set 10 computers up so they can all use Internet
Free/Busy.
They all have Windows XP and Office XP(Outlook 2002).
They're all connected to a new server running Mandrake 9.1.
When we try to publish our free/busy Calendar to our web server, the
message "An error occurred publishing your Internet free/busy data.
Write operation failed at URL:
"ftp://username:p[email protected]/david.vfb".
Obviously: the error message shows our real 'username' and 'password'.
I put 'ourdept' there for a little more privacy.
The server is a University server. (if that even matters)
Note: I tried that file:// - didn't work.
Is there anything I'm missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just did this yesterday, but I used http:// on a server in our local
domain so authentication was a non-issue. I'm guessing that your problem
deals with authentication, but I don't know anything about Mandrake or their
implementation of FTP. Do you have a local server that could host this
data?
