internet links wont open

I have windwos XP Home Edition. Have not installed SP1,
running outlook express ver 6
heres my problem.
I can not open any internet links sent to me in email.
there still blue like they should be. but when I click on
them single or double nothing happens. they dont open they
just sit there... if I copy them to IE they work fine..

Help Me Please.....
