Internet Optimizer

I just installed McAfee Internet Security Suite and it is
detecting a file in my Office Program Files called
Internet Optimizer as a virus. I have tried to delete it
but it will not allow it. Says it is read only. Why is
this happening and why can't I get rid of it ? Thanks.

Thank you for the response. It doesn't show up under
Add/Remove Programs. The only suspicious program is an
EBate one that cannot ne found when I try to delete it. I
got rid of an Adware program though.

Microsoft Office... it's spyware. Can you remove the
application from Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove
Programs?
