Dear all,
I access an imaps server for emails through outlook 2003. Every time a start
outlook, I get an Internet Security Warning dialog with the following message:
"outlook certificates CN name does not match the passed value"
I was able to import the certificate (I have to use another mail client to
import and the export it so I could use IE to import it for outlook to recognise
it!!!)
The problem is that the name encoded in the certificate does not match the
dns name for the server. It is not possible for me to have the certificate
updated, I would just like outlook to trust the certificate.
Is there an option in outlook to trust a broken certificate? Or some other
method through changes to the client side to avoid the security dialog?
Thanks,
Raj
