interpolate

Hi,
I have a problem with 2007 Excel. I used to quite easily connect points by
using the interpolate feature. But how do I do that in 2007? I have a line
chart which shows the turnout of the American Elections (presidential and
midway). There are no calculations, I just want to connect the plots.
Hope someone can help.
